2023 Loppet

The 2023 Tay Valley Loppet scheduled for Saturday February 11th at Murphys Point Provincial Park has been cancelled due to weather. Check our News page for a message from the club president.

20 Km Loppet and 10 Km Short Loppet: Classic Technique 
The 20 km event is part of the Ontario Masters Loppet Points Series
Start Time 11:00 am for both events
Draw prizes open to all entrants 

2.5 and 5 Km “Cookie Race”: Freestyle (skate or classic)
2.5 Km (10 and under) and 5 Km (all ages)
Start Time 10:00 am
Ribbons and Cookies awarded to all racers

Awards for all 4 races: Medals for fastest overall, and the top 3 male and top 3 female skiers. First in Age Group awards, male & female, age groups to be determined based upon number of entrants. Walkers Shortbread awarded to kilted skiers. 
We are pleased to say that Bushtukah has given us six $25 gift certificates to give away as prizes.
